After the museum we take you to a cenote — a freshwater sinkhole sacred to the Maya, where shafts of light fall through the jungle onto impossibly clear water. Swim, snorkel, photograph, or simply float in the stillness. It's the moment most guests say they didn't speak for twenty minutes.
