The Signature · Seva Weddings

A wedding that leaves everyone better than it found them.

Five days at a private Tulum estate. Your ceremony at the center, untouched — a quiet program of nourishment and recovery around it.

A wedding is already a health event. Eighty-five years of Harvard research keeps arriving at the same finding: good relationships keep us happier and healthier. Two lives binding is the largest single change most bodies will ever schedule — yet most celebrations spend a year of discipline in one weekend of open bars and four hours of sleep.

This one invests instead. For five days, a private estate becomes your family’s house: a chef cooks real food for every table, mornings open with movement and light, and between the dinners — massage, sound, steam, cold water. When it ends, no one crawls home. The marriage begins rested, clear, together.

The Four Pillars

One celebration, four promises — to the marriage, the guest list, the body and the generations.

The Union

The marriage, treated as the founding act of a shared healthy life — you arrive at your ceremony rested, not depleted.

The Circle

The guest list becomes the wellness unit — one chef’s table, one shared arc, morning and night.

The Body

In-villa practitioners all week — massage, facials, fascia, physician-screened IV recovery. Always optional.

The Legacy

Parents and grandparents sit down with longevity physicians — and take home a plan, not a favor bag.

The Five-Day Arc

Arrival to farewell, one designed week — the ceremony at its center, untouched.

01

The Gathering

Arrive, land, one long table.

02

The Body

Hands laid on every generation.

03

The Threshold

Temazcal, cacao, the rehearsal.

04

The Ceremony

Your tradition, front and center.

05

The Return

Leave better than you arrived.

What Your People Receive

Every cohort gets its own version of the week — nobody is just an audience.

The Couple

The most rested people at your own wedding — couples massage, floating meditation, a physician-screened glow arc.

The Bridal Party

All of the mischief, none of the wreckage — cenote swims, an e-motion dance journey, recovery IVs on standby.

The Parents

Often their first spa week in years — massage, gentle movement, and a private longevity consultation if they choose.

The Circle

Everyone eats from the same chef and goes as deep as they like — sound healing at one end, the temazcal at the other.

Two Ways In

Both are five days, four nights, full-board and fully private — sized to your circle.

Good to Know

Questions, Answered

Is a Tulum villa wedding legally binding?
Our standard ceremonies are symbolic — the market default. Most couples sign legally at their home courthouse and hold the real celebration here: zero documents, zero residency requirements, any officiant, any script. If you want a legally-binding civil ceremony in Mexico, we coordinate it as an upgrade: a Juez del Registro Civil at your villa, in-Mexico blood tests, certified translations, witnesses and apostille of your marriage acta. Requirements change (they were revised in June 2026), so we verify current Registro Civil rules for every booking rather than promising a fixed checklist.
When is the best time of year to marry in Tulum?
November through April is prime, with February–April the golden window: dry, low humidity, minimal sargassum. Early November is the value play — dry-season weather before peak pricing. Full transparency: sargassum seaweed runs April–August (peaking June–July) and hurricane risk peaks mid-August to mid-October. Here is our structural advantage: SEVA villas are garden-and-pool properties, not beachfront, so a sargassum year cannot touch your ceremony — beach time becomes an optional beach-club outing on a clean day. For June–November dates we recommend event-cancellation insurance.
How late can the music go?
We publish an honest music-cutoff time for every villa instead of letting you find out from a neighbor’s complaint. In residential zones amplified music conventionally ends 10–11pm; municipal coastal rules require it off by midnight with strict decibel limits after. Every SEVA wedding includes a designed after-party plan: the party moves indoors, switches to silent disco (a proven Tulum workaround), or continues at a partner venue with shuttle transfer. Nothing ends at cutoff — it just changes shape.
How many guests can a SEVA villa wedding host?
Our sweet spot is 10–40 guests. Castillo Kaanab hosts up to 40 across its 15-bedroom, three-villa gated estate, and with spread accommodation over nearby SEVA villas we host up to 100. Caan Estate sleeps 30 across a 10-bedroom compound, Sayab Estate sleeps 24, Casa Xolo 16 and Tu Jáal 14, so your entire guest list can stay on-property all weekend. Day-guest capacity above overnight numbers is assessed per villa. For elopements, any of our 17 villas works.
How do deposits and payments work?
A 30% deposit holds your villa and date, processed through our Stripe booking engine with hold-then-confirm — we place a hold and only capture once your date is confirmed. The balance is scheduled across planning milestones, with the final payment due after the final guest count locks. A refundable security deposit applies to the villa, per standard Tulum event terms.
What is actually included in your price — what about the hidden costs?
Everything we quote is all-in and itemized: 16% IVA stated, gratuity treatment stated explicitly (our contracts say whether service charge includes propina — a chronic pain point elsewhere), permits included where required, and weather-backup priced upfront. Because we own the venues, we charge no outside-vendor access fees — a $500–$3,000-per-vendor line other venues add quietly. Our vetted vendors carry liability insurance with COIs on file. You also get a tipping guide with pre-made envelope kit so the day itself has zero money friction.
What happens if it rains?
Wet-season rain in Tulum is mostly short afternoon bursts, and every SEVA villa has a designated covered backup plan we share before you book. Outside September–October the villa’s own covered spaces are usually sufficient; for peak wet-season dates we hold a tent reservation (from $2,500) that you only pay for if weather demands it.
Do you handle getting our guests to Tulum?
Yes — transfers are an in-house SEVA operation, not a subcontract. The Cancun drive is 1h45–2h, so we run staggered private van pickups from CUN on arrival day (from $150 per van each way) and event-night shuttles between guest lodging and the ceremony villa, because Tulum taxis at night are scarce and overpriced. Guests landing at Tulum’s TQO airport get an even shorter run.
The Wellness Wedding
Can we still have a party — and a real toast?
Yes, and it should be a great one. There is a dance floor, there are toasts, and if you want an excellent natural wine or a proper champagne moment, we build it into the bar. The principle is intention, not prohibition: the zero-proof program stands shoulder to shoulder with the wine list, nobody tracks who drinks what, and the week is designed so the celebration does not cost you the next day.
Do we have to change our ceremony?
No. The ceremony is entirely yours — religious, cultural or secular, officiated however you choose. The wellness is the wrapper around your tradition, never a replacement for it. If you would like to add local ritual — a cacao circle, a temazcal — we arrange it with living practitioners, as an invitation alongside your tradition, not instead of it.
How do the IV and peptide protocols work for guests?
Every Seva Vitality protocol is physician-screened. Guests who opt in complete a short medical intake before arrival, a physician reviews it, and only cleared protocols are delivered — in-villa, by clinical staff, individually consented. Everything is optional; guests who prefer to keep to massage, food and sleep get an equally full week.
Can grandparents and children come?
They are the point. The program runs at every intensity: gentle morning movement, fascia stretch and massage suit the oldest guests, the pool and cenote absorb the youngest, and the chef feeds everyone from the same table. Grandparents who want more can sit down privately with our Regeneration Tulum partners while they are here. A wedding is one of the few times three generations share a roof — we build for that.
Is the temazcal required — and is it appropriate for us to take part?
It is always optional. The temazcal is a ceremony of volcanic stone, steam and copal guided by a temazcalero — a rite of renewal with roots a thousand years deep in this region, not a spa treatment — and we frame it that way: you enter as guests of a living tradition, led by local hands. The practitioners advise who should join on a given day, and sitting out is always graceful.
What does the from-price include, and what moves it?
The from-price covers the villa buyout, full-board chef, ceremony coordination and the core program listed in each tier. What moves it: peak dates, guest count, extra nights, individual Seva Vitality protocols beyond the couple’s, and ceremony production such as florals, photography and music. We quote every wedding line by line before you hold dates, and you book through the same secure system as every Seva stay.
